As a youngster, Michelle played football with the boys in the street and at school, whilst at the time very uncommon, she was always accepted by the lads. 

Today Michelle Co Chairs the Rainbow Reds. Rainbow Reds are Middlesbrough Football Club’s official LGBTQ+ supporters group. Founded in 2019, the group promotes inclusivity across the MFC family and aims to work alongside other supporter groups. Rainbow Reds is not only for supporters who identify themselves as LGBT+, every fan is welcome.
